This information is for administrators responsible for managing a PS Series group. Administrators are not required to have extensive network or storage system experience. However, it is useful to understand:

• Basic networking concepts
• Current network environment
• Application disk storage requirements

In addition, administrators may find it useful to understand the basic concepts for:

• Network topologies
• RAID configurations
• Disk storage management

Note: Although PS Series documentation provides examples of using PS Series arrays in some common network configurations, detailed information about setting up a network is beyond its scope.
