AIX Toolbox for Linux Applications Source Download Information

The source images are not distributed on the same installation media with the
binaries.
The latest Source RPM images are available via download, at:
   http://www6.software.ibm.com/dl/tbxsrc/tbxsrc-p
Only those packages for which licenses require source redistribution are
available on the above site.  Links to other sites where sources can be
downloaded can be found on the table at
 http://www.ibm.com/servers/aix/products/aixos/linux/download.html.


Accessing the Internet web location above is the easiest and fastest way to
access the source.
However, if you are unable to download these source images from the links
listed above (for example, you do not have Internet access), you may optionally
order a copy on CD (if you have a valid license as described below).

Initial Order
-------------

To receive the AIX Toolbox for Linux Source CD with your initial order of
AIX 5L, place an order for 5692-A5L (5765-E61 or 5765-E62) for AIX 5L SPO and
add feature code 0957. 


Current Licensees
-----------------

Current licensees of AIX 5L are entitled and licensed to receive the AIX
Toolbox for Linux Source CD. Order this media via MES. 

Current licensees of 5765-E62 or 5765-E61 who have not paid a media process
charge are encouraged to call IBM Direct at 800-426-2255.

Current licensees of 5765-E62 or 5765-E61 who have already paid a media process
charge are encouraged to order MES updates by calling 800-879-2755.  Before you
call this number, IBM Software Delivery and Fulfillment (SDF) requires all AIX
licensed programs installed on any RS/6000® or IBM pSeries hardware be
installed for the customer's appropriate hardware and software serial numbers
on AAS.  If these conditions are met, SDF will enter an order for a release and
will process the installation of the MES.  The hours of operation are Monday
through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. mountain time.

SDF will request the following information from the caller:

 -Verification of customer name and number.
 -Verification of ship-to address (for a permanent address change, the local
  IBM office must be contacted).

The local IBM office is responsible for:

 -Permanent address change
 -New chargeable software order requests
 -Software discontinuance
 -System program order (SPO) consolidations

If SDF is unable to fulfill a request, SDF will refer the customer to an IBM
representative.
