Where are my normal e5/e4 etc? What are ns0/ns1? How many networks can I have?

Normal Filers, NetCache and NearStore use the physical slot and port number to identify each network interface. E.g. you may have an e5a and an e5b if you have a dual-ported gigabit card in slot 5 in a Filer. The simulator supplies 2 interfaces only, ns0 and ns1.
