To Browse and Add or Modify LDAP Entries

• Click Directory Servers tab, a server name, and the Entry Management tab. Browse through the Directory Information Tree (DIT).

  • Edit an entry.

  • Add or delete an entry.

  • Edit groups. To do this, select the group you want to add to or remove from, and click Edit Entry.

  Note - You can also use the Common Tasks tab to create a new entry or browse data.

  View DN is the top-level entry for browsing. If you set a DN as the View DN, DSCC behaves as if the View DN that you set is the top-level entry. For example, on the suffix dc=example,dc=com, you can set the View DN to ou=Groups,dc=example,dc=com. For browsing, ou=Groups,dc=example,dc=com is treated as the top-level entry.
