To Manage Server Groups

Server groups assist you in monitoring and configuring servers.

• Click Server Groups tab, then click the appropriate button or click the name of a server group to modify it.

  • Create, modify, or delete a server group.

  • Manage server groups.

  • Assign servers to a group.

  Once you have set up the server groups you can:

  • Monitor the status of all servers in a group. To do this, click the Directory Servers tab, and choose the server group from the filter drop-down menu.

  • Copy the server configuration (for example index or cache settings) of one server to all other servers in a group. To do this, choose Copy Server Configuration from the drop-down menu on the Directory Servers tab or Proxy Servers tab, and in the wizard, specify which group you want to copy the configuration to.
