public class SdiCipher
extends java.lang.Object
implements SimpleCipher

A simple implementation of the SDI cipher for data encryption and decryption.

Usage:

 
  
   SimpleCipher sdi =                       // creates a new cipher object.
        SimpleCipherFactory.getCipher(SimpleCipherFactory.SDI_CIPHER);         
   sdi.setKey(key);                         // Sets the key for encryption.
   cipherText = sdi.encrypt(plainText);     // Performs encryption.
   sdi.clear();                             // Clears the data when the cipher is no longer in use.
   ...
   sdi =                                    // creates another cipher object.
        SimpleCipherFactory.getCipher(SimpleCipherFactory.SDI_CIPHER);         
   sdi.setKey(key);                         // Sets the key for decryption.
   decipherText = sdi.decrypt(cipherData);  // Performs decryption.
   sdi.clear();                             // Clears the data when the cipher is no longer in use.
   
  
 

Warning:
This cipher does not allocate the output buffer and thus writes the output data over the input buffer.
