Click Nodes tab to configure the server nodes and to add/modify server instances associated with the nodes. The nodes page provide a high level overview of the configured nodes. The following table describes the various node elements:

Column | Description |
Nodes | List of configured nodes for the server. Clicking node name opens the general properties page for that node. This page is used to change the general node and monitoring properties . |
Status | Current status of the node. [ Started / Not Started ]. |
Description | Provides a brief description of the configured node. This description is obtained from the new node creation page. |
Instances | List of configured instances for the node. By default there is atleast one instance, which is the child node for the administration server node. Clicking instances count will display the list of instances and their properties. |
Status of the instances | Current status of the instances [ Running / Not Running ]. |
Apart from the viewing the nodes summary, you can also perform some actions on the node listed in the following table:

Action | Description |
New Instance | Create a new instance of any available server configuration and add it to any available node. See Creating a New Server Instance |
Start Instances | Start the instance(s) controlled by the selected node. You can select the instances you need to start from this action. See Start Server Instances |
Stop Instances | Stop the instance(s) controlled by the selected node. You can select the instances you need to stop from this action. See Stopping Server Instances |
Restart Instances | Restart the instance(s) controlled by the selected node. You can select the instances you need to restart from this option. See Restarting Server Instances |
Change Configurations | You change the existing configuration deployed to the node by selecting a new configuration from the available configuration. Note: You need to redeploy your web applications, when you change the node configuration. |
Restart Node(s) | Restarts the selected node(s). This action restarts all the instances controlled by the selected node(s). |
Stop Nodes | Stops the selected node(s). This action stops all the instances controlled by the selected node(s). |
