Global Administrator's Tasks Not Available From Admin Console

The Zimbra command-line interface (CLI) tool contains utilities that are not available through the administration console. The CLI options are executed on each server individually.

Some of  the tasks performed with the CLI utilities include the following:

• Start and stop services

• Create self-signed certificates

• Install self-signed or CA certificates

• Manage local server configuration

• Bulk provision of accounts

• Message tracing

• Cross-mailbox searches

• Moving a Mailbox
