To access the CLI to manage a group, use one of the following methods:
Note: When managing an individual array, you must use a serial connection to the array or use telnet or SSH to connect to an IP address assigned to a network interface on the array. Do not connect to the group IP address. See Running Array Management Commands for details.
Once connected to the group (or an array), press the <Enter> key and log in to a group administration account (for example, grpadmin). You can then enter CLI commands at the command prompt.
The following example shows how to use telnet to log in to a group.
Note that the password you enter is not displayed on the screen.
