Configuring Syslog Event Notification

To configure syslog event notification, follow these steps:

1. Click Group Configuration > Notifications tab. The Group Notifications window (Figure 12: Group Notifications ) appears.
2. In the Event Logs panel, select Send events to syslog servers and click Add. In the Add List Item dialog box, specify an IP address for a remote syslog server and click OK. You can specify up to three IP addresses, which can include ports. All remote hosts will receive events.
   
   To modify or delete an IP address, select the address and click Modify or Delete, as desired.
3. Under Event priorities, select the event priorities for which you want to be notified. These priorities will apply to all the specified syslog servers.
